St. Roberts Center

The Saturday Food Program at St. Robert’s Center has served the low-income families and the homeless population of Venice Beach and the Westside of Los Angeles for over 25 years. The food program needs our help during this pandemic as this is the only safety net the clients have. Volunteers will make sandwiches, prepping coffee in to-go cups and brown-bag lunches.

Volunteers need to arrive at the center by 7:30 am for food preparation. Food distribution is from 9:00 am - 11:30 am. Distribution will take place in the parking lot to maintain social distancing protocol, and clients are only picking up goods to take out. The center has masks and gloves, and volunteers who only want to work inside preparing sandwiches are welcome. Lastly, the center needs bottled water. If you are able, please bring a case of water with you.

Social distancing and mask-wearing guidelines are in effect at the center. Once you have registered to serve, you will receive an email with volunteer duties and expectations.
