Volunteer

Come and join us in welcoming our neighbors to pray, to grow, to make new friends, to pick up food, to hand out food, to encounter Jesus in the Mass, at Confession, in Adoration, or anywhere else on the grounds.  We need your hands, your feet, your skills, your gifts to make the work of serving each other more life giving and fruitful. Below are some ways in which you can get involved.

We had over 1,000 visitors in person and online throughout our Holy Triduum masses a couple of weeks ago, and everyone saw the beautiful decorations, flowers, and staging of our worship space in the Garfield parking lot. All those elements combined we refer to as the Liturgical Environment. The Environment Ministry led by Judy Lopez and a small number of volunteers work hard throughout the liturgical year to make our worship space inviting and aid in enhancing our experience of prayer and praise.

In the Environment Ministry, we need women and men to lift heavy items, people with a creative eye and mind, seamstresses and seamsters, and anyone else who wants to help enhance our worship space.

Please enter your contact information in form below to be added to the ministry communication list. The next celebration that we will need support with is the weekend of Pentecost, May 22nd and 23rd.

This solidarity work could not be possible without the help of dozens of volunteers, who each week donate their time to distribute the food and serve the families that need it most. If you wish to participate, click the button below to check volunteer options and register to serve. We are following all the safety protocols pertaining to COVID-19.
